Today I saw and learned about Khalid Hasan’s presentation about the importance of valves that are being used in factories and the information about their source. Khalid talked about their purpose and how many types, shape and sizes of valves and how every piece is unique and how every part controls a certain amount of water and pressure, controlling the fluid’s direction (horizontally and vertically) and every valves actuates air fluid magnetic force. Khalid’s presentation about the subject seems very hectic but he broke it down to the simplest form, by naming and defining different valves; one of them is called Gate Valve and another one is called Ball Valve. Both are small and the Gate Valve advantage helps the commitment of water flow and it doesn’t allow water going the other way around. He told us the disadvantage of a Ball Valve is that it doesn’t handle a big amount of pressure. He added what the valves are made of; it could be from copper to gold. The purpose of the valves was to purify and launch the selected liquid through the pipes. At the end of the presentation he answered the student’s questions very well and in a logical way.
